IB MACT (Industrial Boiler Maximum Achievable Control Technology, also “Boiler MACT”) represents Part 63 Subpart DDDDD and impacts facilities that use industrial, commercial, and institutional boilers and process heaters. The final IB MACT rule was published on November 20, 2015 and became effective on that date. The initial compliance demonstration deadline is July 29, 2016.

Are you up to date on the latest IB MACT requirements? We are...and we can help you get ready too! ESC's regulatory specialists have stayed in tune with the evolving regulations since the rule was originally published in March 2011 and then amended extensively through January 2015. Caution! – There are a number of commonly used terms with different definitions unique to IB MACT. Make sure you know the difference!

We will maintain this page as a single point of reference for all of the IB MACT information that we have to offer, including free webinars, Q&A with EPA, and any documents we have to help clarify the regulations. Check in often for the latest updates and make sure your facility is prepared!
