Basic Air Regulations + Managing Your DAS (Oct 2018)

A full week of training geared towards a basic understanding of Part 75 & Part 60 Regulations and a focus on how to manage the daily operations of your ESC CEMS Data Acquisition System.

This combination of classes is designed to give you a better understating of Basic Air Regulations and how best to manage your daily ESC CEMS Data Acquisition System. During the first two days, participants will become familiar with terms and acronyms and finding various sections in the rule, and understand the reasoning behind testing requirements and associated performance specifications.

The last three days will focus on creating an understanding of how to utilize ESC|StackVision to complete required Data QA and CEMS certification procedures, as well as the relationship between the 8864 Data Controller and ESC|StackStudio.

To begin the registration process, you must log in with your ESC Customer Community account. If you don't yet have a user name and password, you can request one here. Please do not use Internet Explorer to register. You may use any modern browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge.
As always, free public training is available for Fortress-level maintenance customers.

Breakfast provided at 8am. Lunch and snack will also be provided throughout the day.

We encourage you to attend all courses for a more complete understanding of all aspects of the subject, but please feel free to choose an individual class if it suits your particular needs. 

Basic Air Regulations - 2 days

Basic Part 75 Regulations - 1 day - $805
This fundamental class is geared toward Reporting Personnel, Plant Managers and Corporate Environmental Staff. This one-day course provides a basic understanding of the Part 75 regulations behind specific responsibilities. From this class, participants will become familiar with terms and acronyms and finding various sections in the rule, and understand the reasoning behind testing requirements and associated performance specifications.

Basic Part 60 Regulations - 1 day - $805
This fundamental class is geared toward Reporting Personnel, Plant Managers and Corporate Environmental Staff. This one-day course provides a basic understanding of the Part 60 regulations behind specific responsibilities. From this class, participants will become familiar with terms and acronyms and finding various sections in the rule, and understand the reasoning behind testing requirements and associated performance specifications.


Managing Your DAS - 3 days

CEMS New User with ESC|StackVision (CEMS SVNU) - 2 days - $1,450
This class is geared toward I&C Technicians, Plant Engineers, Environmental Coordinators and Reporting Personnel and will focus on the basic features of the ESC|StackVision software. This course is specifically paced for a new CEMS user. Participants will receive hands-on experience with the StackVision software and have ample time to cover the entire DAS and associated tasks.

ESC|StackStudio and Data Controller Workshop (SS-DC Workshop) - 1 day - $805
Participants will navigate StackStudio and learn how to use configuration editors to begin making changes to their configuration. In addition, the ESC Data Controllers will also be covered in this portion of Managing Your DAS, to include familiarization, configuration and operation of the data controller.


Attendees will have a test laptop so they can follow along and perform exercises throughout the course.
