September's One Page Tip

September's One Page Tip consists of daily and weekly data system review checklists and procedures you should have job aids for.

Daily & Weekly Data System Review

It’s important to stay on top of the health of your monitoring systems and the data they are generating. A “sick” system can allow “sick” data to creep into your database. These occurrences require extra work to straighten out the hardware and to clean up or reprocess the invalid or non-typical data.
These tools can help make your job easier, less stressful, and provide you with a safe harbor for handling your day-to-day responsibilities. Each day or every couple of days, you should perform this quick review of available information on the status of CEMS to determine if anything needs immediate attention, attention sometime today, or no attention at all.
