Configuring alarms with the ideal type, notification frequency and/or method can ensure you are aware of conditions that require attention in a timely manner without being overburdened.
An alarm is an indication that an exception, condition, or notable event has occurred. Conditions specified for the exception are used to trigger an alarm. Typical alarm conditions vary from general to specific, and there are several ways alarms may issue notifications (e.g. through StackVision, by email).
